SRA Solicitors Accountants Report

All solicitors firms authorised by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) who deal with client monies, are required to obtain a Solicitors Accountant Report, unless

a) all of the client money is held for legal aid

b) the amount of client money held does not exceed an average of £10,000 and a maximum of £250,000

The report has to be obtained within 6 months of the end of the solicitor’s accounting period and if qualified has to be delivered to the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
